Terms of Service

PDF Money Tracker — a product of Stacked Pilot Co LLC · Last updated August 20, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a contract between you ("you") and Stacked Pilot Co LLC ("Stacked Pilot," "we," "us"), a limited liability company organized in Arizona, which operates PDF Money Tracker (the "Service"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. What the Service Does

PDF Money Tracker lets you upload your own bank or credit card statement PDFs, parses and categorizes the transactions in your browser, and shows you dashboards and summaries of your income, spending, and category trends over time. Statement parsing happens on your own device.

The Service is not a bank, financial institution, broker, or financial advisor. We do not hold, move, or access your money or bank accounts, and we do not extend credit. Categorization and dashboards are provided for your own organizational and informational use only — not financial, tax, investment, or legal advice.

2. Eligibility

3. Your Account

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

4. Your Content and Data

You own the statements you upload and the data derived from them. We claim no ownership over your financial data. Everything you upload is parsed and stored locally in your browser by default — we do not receive or store the contents of your statements or transactions unless you turn on the optional, encrypted Cloud Backup feature, in which case we still only ever receive an encrypted copy we cannot read (see the Privacy Policy for details). You can clear your data, and delete any Cloud Backup, at any time from within the app.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: use the Service unlawfully or upload documents you don't have the right to use; attempt to bypass the Service's security; attempt to access another user's account; interfere with or disrupt the Service; or resell or sublicense the Service without our written consent.

6. No Financial, Tax, or Legal Advice

Categorization, dashboards, and summaries are informational tools, not professional advice. PDF parsing may contain errors — you're responsible for reviewing and verifying figures you rely on for budgeting, tax, or other decisions.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Stacked Pilot Co LLC. The Service uses open-source components (including pdf.js and Chart.js) under their respective licenses.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT PDF PARSING WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED. YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MAINTAINING YOUR OWN COPIES OF IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS, INCLUDING ANY DATA STORED ONLY IN YOUR BROWSER.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stacked Pilot Co LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that materially breach these Terms or engage in fraudulent or abusive behavior.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date; continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
